A brief visit to the Argentinian Esperanza Station in Antarctica. In here, people usually stays for a hole year in the white continent, with wildlife and weather researches by the Argentinian government and universities.

Approximately 40 percent of its vascular plants and up 60 percent of its vertebrates are endemic species, meaning they are found nowhere else in the world. Over 85% of the original area has been deforested, threatening many plants and animals with extinction.

Toraja funeral rites are important social events, usually attended by hundreds of people and lasting for several days.
